Live Recording Downloads

Follow these instructions in order to open a live show recording purchased from our online store on a mobile device

iPhone

1. Access the download link, either from the “Your downloads are ready” email, or the “Order Confirmation” email (by clicking “View Your Order”).

2. Click the ”Download Now” link.  You should see a popup on your screen - click “Download”.  

3. Once the file downloads, click “Open In”, then “Save to Files”.  If the top of the screen displays “On My iPhone”, click “Save”.  (Otherwise, click “Browse” and select “On My iPhone”.)

4. Go back to your phone’s Home Screen and navigate to the “Files” application - sometimes this is most quickly done by swiping left until the app search screen appears and finding “Files”.

5. Navigate to the “On My iPhone” section within the Files app.  Click on the ZIP file of the downloaded show to unzip the files.  You can then play the songs from within the Files app.

   For a better experience, we recommend using a media player called VLC.  If you downloaded this app, here are instructions for adding the new album to VLC. 

6. In the Files app (in the “On My iPhone” section), touch-and-hold-down the folder with the live show songs, then drag-and-drop that folder into the “VLC” folder in your Files app.  After this, when you open VLC, you’ll see the live album available to play!

Android

1. Access the download link, either from the “Your downloads are ready” email, or the “Order Confirmation” email (by clicking “View Your Order”).

2. Click the ”Download Now” link.  You should see a popup on your screen - Once the file downloads, click “Details”.  

3. You’ll be directed to the “Extract” menu - select the folder representing the live show (titled with the date, location, and venue) and click “Extract” to unzip the file.  You’ll be prompted for a new file name after extraction - feel free to leave this as-is and click “Extract”.

4. Once extracted, move the folder to your phone’s “Music” storage by clicking-and-holding the folder until the menu with “Move” comes up.  Click “Move”, navigate to the “Music” folder, and click “Move here”.  

   For a better experience, we recommend using a media player called VLC.  If you download this app and open it, it will populate its library with songs in your phone’s “Music” folder - you should see the live show you purchased available and ready to play!
